| The First Car Dealership Visit |
|
-You may have scheduled an appointment...but don't count on the salesperson being prepared for the meeting.
Ideally, upon your arrival the car would be ready for a test drive and the salesman prepared for the trade appraisal.
Keep in mind, most car salesmen rely on their wits to sell cars on a day-to-day basis. Even if they agreed to help you at a certain time, that doesn’t mean that they scheduled it into an appointment calendar. Therefore, it is a good idea to reconfirm the meeting one hour before the appointment.
During the confirmation call you must restate the time-line and your agenda, (the test drive and trade appraisal). Otherwise when you arrive, it will take an hour just to get started.
