Manufacturer Rebates are discounts that can be applied to the purchase price of a vehicle. These discounts are actually funds provided by the manufacturer to the customer for use with the purchase of a specific vehicle. 

 

For example, the manufacturer “Toyota” provides to the customer with a $1500 rebate to be used for the purchase of new Toyota Camry.

 

Keep in mind, manufacturers will often provide rebates that can be totaled together. For example, they may offer a $1500 rebate that is valid in April and a $500 rebate that is valid from May until January. You can combine the two and receive a total of $2000.
